Something extraordinary happened in the spring, summer and autumn of 2011-12. On what has now become the most fashionable, creative and happening street in London, Bricklane!
A group of hairdressers from a variety of Salons and nationalities came together to create not only a unique but unexpectedly exciting atmosphere.
Week after week these stylist gave the passing public consistently cool, creative, sometimes crazy and always classic haircuts.
The people were surprised to see us working with the freedom of being outside. Something that has never happened before on the streets of London. The queue grew long as the people came with courageous request for their own on the spot spontaneous style outs!
One of the impresssive factors is the location. The courtyard of the infamous Vibe Bar. The original Bricklane Bar set in the Truman Brewery, the Bar that got the whole East End scene kick started.
If its warm we are completely uncovered with all the necessary equipment this pop up salon needs. If the weather is not so kind, we have a Gazebo with heat and lighting. People can sip Pimms, or Pints!
The Vibe moves from a chilled soothing Sunday to a vibrant party atmosphere as the carnival atmosphere of Bricklane comes to colourful life. The energy and exuberance is absorbing.
